In keeping with this maxim, the photographer Peter Helm from Constance has for the first time presented abstract pictures of water surfaces, usually of Lake Constance, in book form. And this abstraction did not take place in the darkroom or on the computer with graphic software, but in the moment before the photograph was taken: in the eye of the photographer.
These are images of immediate directness and great clarity.
